Attacking midfielder Chelsea Charlie Mussonda admitted that he could not restrain emotions after his first goal for the London club.
Charlie Mussonda first appeared in the starting line-up of Chelsea in the League Cup match against Nottingham Forest and scored the third goal of his team, which won 5: 1.
Sending the ball into the goal of the "foresters", the 20-year-old Belgian very emotionally celebrated the capture of the gate.
"You saw how happy I was. To be honest, I did not hold back my tears.
If the guys did not lift me from the lawn, I do not know what would have happened, "confessed Mussonda.
"I really expected this. I came from the club Academy, and to play my first match for the first team here at Bridge is a wonderful experience for me, but this is only the first game, I have to continue to work ".
Mussonda moved to Chelsea from Anderlecht at the age of 15 and debuted for the first team in August of this year, appearing as a substitute in the England Super Cup against Arsenal.
