President of Barcelona Josep Maria Bartomeu can still leave his post.

In early September, former presidential candidate Barcelona Agusti Benedito began collecting signatures in order to put forward a vote of no confidence in the current leadership, headed by Josep Bartomeu.

To put forward such a vote of no confidence, it is necessary to collect 16 570 signatures.

At the moment, according to Marca, more than 10,000 votes have been collected. The management of Barcelona informs that the deadline for collecting signatures is September 27, while Benedito insists on the date of October 2.

The possibility to increase the number of signatures of Benedito will be during the next match of the team against Girona already on Saturday.
