The Dutch specialist Bert van Marwijk decided not to renew the contract with Saudi Arabia, although he brought the national team to the 2018 World Cup.

Along with the end of the Asian selection for the 2018 World Cup, Bert van Maarveik's contract with the Saudi Football Federation ended. Under the leadership of the Dutch this team for the fifth time in history went to the World Cup.

"I stopped talking. Last week, after we went to the World Cup, I was fired by several members of my coaching staff. For me, this is unacceptable, "- said van Noveuvek NOS.

"And I was not going to discuss moving to Saudi Arabia. I do not want to live there permanently. The Federation finds it incomprehensible my decision to leave. They really wanted me to coach the team during the World Cup 2018 ".

"And I would like to go to the tournament, because for this I undertook to work two years ago. But I will not let anyone tell me how I work.

As it turned out, the success of many fathers. I noticed that after reaching the World Cup a lot of people started talking about the national team and associating themselves with it ".

"I'm sorry that it all ends, especially because of the players I worked with in the last 2 years. They struggled to persuade me to stay, but there was no choice. Each coach should be able to choose the methods of work ".

Instead of van Marveyk, Saudi Arabia will be trained by Edgardo Baus.
