Famous German coach Christoph Daum left the post of head coach of the Romanian team by mutual agreement.

The Romanian Football Federation and the head coach of the national team Christophe Daum agreed on the termination of cooperation by mutual agreement.

Daum coached the Romanian national team for the last 14 months, but after the tricolor lost the chance to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, the national team leadership and Daum decided to end the cooperation.

In total, under the leadership of the 63-year-old German, Romania played eight official matches - two wins, three draws and three defeats.
