Pole missed part of last season due to a cruciate ligament injury, but Milik says that these problems are far behind.

"I do not think that I lost something during this year. Most likely, on the contrary, I acquired something. I grew up as a player, I did not practice for a long time, so I had the opportunity to work on myself, primarily in the mental aspect. I believe that in this regard, I have grown in terms of the year. That trauma is in the past. I now do not feel pain and I'm ready to play 100% ".

Also, Milik added that on their part there is no underestimation of the rival.

"I fully understand how difficult the group in which we ended up. This is a group with the champion of Ukraine, the champion of the Netherlands, and Manchester City does not need anyone to represent. I know that every match that we will play in the Champions League is very important, and we need to prepare for these games in full ".

"None of us think that Shakhtar is a simple rival and we are in for an easy victory. This is by no means the case.

I know that Shakhtar has a good squad and a lot of qualified players, nevertheless, tomorrow we will play our game. We hope to keep the ball under control, create dangerous moments and we will do everything possible to win ".
