Shakhtar's midfielder Maxim Malyshev suffered a surgical intervention.

Malyshev was injured in the match for the Super Cup of Ukraine against Dynamo and since then he has not participated in the games.

Shakhtar's doctors tried to cure the player with conservative treatment, but the result was not given, and Maxim was forced to lie down for an operation.

Channel 1 Football reports that this year the midfielder on the field just will not come out.

"Thanks to those who were worried, thanks for the support! I'll be back stronger, see you soon", - wrote Malyshev in social networks and attached the photo.

It is expected that Malyshev will return to the field not earlier than next spring.

Earlier, Shakhtar announced the application of the team for the Champions League.
