Defender Genoa Armando Izzo, disqualified for participation in contractual games, will be able to play on the next Sunday.
The Italian Football Federation for a month reduced the disqualification of defender Genoa and the recent candidate for the Italian national team Armando Izzo and allowed him to pursue a career, Gazzetta dello Sport.
Izzo was involved in contractual matches, when he played for Avellino in Serie B.
The prosecutor demanded for him and his "accomplices" Luke Pini and Francesco Millesi six years of suspension, but the football court decided to remove Armando from football for 18 months. After an appeal in which it was argued that the player did not influence the outcome of the match, but simply did not report on the collusion, in May the period of disqualification was reduced to six months, and on October 12 the defender could enter the field.
The closest duel of Genoa is scheduled for Sunday, September 10, in which the Genoese in the third round of the Serie A championship will play on the road against Udinese.
