President Juventus replaced Rummenigue at the head of the Association of European Clubs

Andrea Agnelli headed the Association of European Clubs.

The Association of European Clubs (ECA) is an independent body directly representing the interests of football clubs at the European level. ECA exists to protect and promote the interests of European club football.

Since the establishment of the Association in 2008, its president was the sports director of the Munich Bavaria, Karl-Heinz Rummenige. Now, according to the official website of the ECA, this post will be occupied by the Italian Andrea Agnelli, who is the president of Turin Juventus.



Also elected was the Executive Council of the ECA, which included, among others, Josep Bartomeu (President of Barcelona), Ed Woodward (Director of the MJ), Nasser al-Helaifi (President of PSG) and Edwin van der Sar (Ajax's CEO).

It should be noted that in the last general assembly of the ESA took part two Ukrainian clubs - Shakhtar and Chernomorets.
