Midfielder West Ham Robert Snodgrass, who joined on loan to Aston Villa, criticized the manager of the "hammers" Slaven Bilic.

Robert Snodgrass moved to West Ham from Hull City in January 2017 for 10.2 million pounds.

In the first half of the season, he scored nine goals for the Tigers and gave up four assists in 24 games, but West Ham scored only two assistants in 15 games.

"I was preparing to go on to replace the match against Manchester City and Bilic asked me:" Where do you want to play - left or right? ". I thought, "You just signed me, and I played the whole season on the right or under the hitter in Hull". It was my debut, but the alarm bell rang at once, "said Snodgrass.

"It seemed very strange to me, and I almost immediately realized that none of this would come out. Every time I went out on the field, he let me go on the left flank, and I do not know why he did it. I hate this position ".

"Of course, I have to play where the coach decides, but I want to play at a suitable position for myself, especially after I scored nine goals for Hull".

"The coach was already under pressure, so due to respect, I did not challenge his decision. Later I talked to him and said that I'm not the left midfielder. He replied that when a player is confident in himself, he can play at any position ".

This summer, the 29-year-old Scot has joined on loan to Aston Villa.
