Manchester City offered 50 million pounds for Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez, but was denied.
Manchester City hopes to get Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez, but their first offer was rejected.
According to the BBC, "citizens" offered for the 28-year-old Chilean, whose contract with Arsenal expires next summer, 50 million pounds.
In turn, the "Gunners" will be ready to part with Sanchez only if, in addition to the big money, Manchester City will include in the deal its winger Rahim Sterling.
Last season Sanchez scored 30 goals and gave 15 assists in 51 games for Arsenal in all tournaments.
