Attacker Atletico Luciano Vietto can stay in the Madrid club if the Diego Costa transition fails.

This summer, the media linked Vietto with the transition to different European clubs, but the Argentine never changed club registration.

According to Marca, Luciano Vietto will continue to compete for Atletico, if the Diego Costa cross from Chelsea breaks.

Otherwise, the 23-year-old striker will have to leave the Madrid club.

If Vietto will be allowed to leave Atletico, then Valencia, Southampton and Sampdoria will be ready to make an offer to move in the near future.

Last season, Vietto played in Seville on loan and scored 10 goals in 31 games in all tournaments.
