Former striker Roma and Italy's Francesco Totti received a special award from the President of UEFA.

The legendary captain Roma Francesco Totti, who completed his football career in May this year, was awarded with a special UEFA award for loyalty to the team and an example of youth.

Totti became the 17th owner of the UEFA President's Award.

Among the previous owners are Paolo Maldini, Alfredo Di Stefano, Bobby Robson, Eusebio, Raymond Kopa, Franz Bekenbauer and Johan Cruyff.

Cesco played only for Roma, although throughout the quarter-century career had a lot of very tempting suggestions.

As part of the "wolves" the Emperor played 786 matches in all tournaments, which scored 307 goals. Together with Roma Totti won the championship, two Cups and two Super Cups of Italy, and also became world champion in 2006 as part of the Italian team, for which he played 58 matches and scored 9 goals.
