Argentine striker Lionel Messi realizes that the club now is important to concentrate on transfers of new players.
In mid-July, Barcelona announced an early extension of the contract with Lionel Messi, whose agreement expires at the end of the season. Nevertheless, almost a month and a half has passed, and the contract is still not renewed.
Recently, the owner of Man City Sheikh Mansour hinted that the "townspeople" are working on the largest transfer in the history of football and immediately there were suggestions that it was about Messi.
Klausul Argentino is 300 million euros and this does not seem such a large amount after the transfer of Neimar to PSG for 222 million. These rumors intensified after Messi signed to Man City in social networks - some journalists and fans see this as a sign of an impending transition.
However, according to Marca, Messi himself does not intend to go anywhere. At the same time, the Argentinian understands that it is now important for the club to sign newcomers and therefore negotiations for its new contract are not yet being conducted.
