The Los Angeles Football Club will make its debut in the US Main Football League from next season, which starts in early 2018.

The official website of the club said that in January the team will join the Mexican winger Carlos Vela, who now stands for Real Sociedad. Vela will be the first in the history of the team "appointed" player, that is, a football player whose salary is not taken into account at the salary ceiling of MLS.

LA will become the 23rd club in the MLS, the team will be speaking at the Western Conference. Recall that in 2019, the League will join another newcomer - FC Miami.

At the moment, Los Angeles has a head coach - Bob Bradley, as well as three players. In addition to Vela, it is Nigerian Mendey Etim and American Carlos Alvarez.

Last season, 28-year-old Vela played for Real Sociedad 35 matches in the championship of Spain, which scored 9 goals.
