The interest of Atalanta to the arena became known back in May of this year. Now the official website of the club reports that the deal was completed.

The stadium of Atleti Azzurri d'Italia was transferred to Atalanta, which agreed to pay 10 percent more than the original cost. The purchase of the arena cost the club from Bergamo at 8.6 million euros.

Another approximately 2.6 million euros are planned to spend on the reconstruction of the stadium, which will begin in the near future.

Atalanta will have two months to submit a work plan, which should include the re-equipment of two large stands.
