Before the start of the new season Newcastle intends to strengthen the goalkeeper position and their priority goal is Adrian from West Ham, according to Sky Sports.
In the early summer, West Ham took the option in the contract of Adrian and extended the Spaniard's contract for two years, but after that, the "hammers" leased the goalkeeper Manchester City Joe Hart.
However, West Ham also sold Darren Randolph to Middlesbrough, so Adrian's sale will be authorized only if they manage to find him a worthy replacement.
Adrian moved to West Ham from Betis as a free agent in 2013 and has since played for the club 123 matches.
