Santos demands from PSG almost nine million euros, which rely on the Brazilian club for the education of Neimar.

According to the FIFA solidarity mechanism, Santos can count on compensation in the amount of up to 5% of the total transfer amount, and the Brazilian club asked the Parisians 4% of 222 million euros.

Moreover, Neimar himself asked the leadership of the PSG to satisfy the request of Santos and pay his former club reimbursable compensation.

The departure of Neimar from Barcelona should bring Santos about five million euros in connection with the failed friendly match between the two clubs. When Neimar moved from Santos to Barcelona in 2013, the parties agreed to hold a friendly match in which the player himself was to take part. Since this meeting did not take place and will not happen, the Brazilians expect to receive monetary compensation.

In total, the transfer of Neimar to PSG will bring Santos about 14 million euros. Almost the same amount the Brazilian club earned in the first quarter of 2017.
