For a long time, the Croatian midfielder is interested in Manchester United, but the Milan club does not want to release its player cheaper than 55 million euros.
Inter coach Luciano Spalletti confirmed that while Inter did not receive an offer that would satisfy the club's management.
According to Mediaset Premium, Nerazzurri are increasingly convinced that MJ will not pay the required amount of 55 million euros, nor include in the transaction Anthony Martial (this option was also considered by Inter earlier). Thus, the club decided to extend the contract with Perisic.
The current agreement between the Croat and the Milan club expires in 2020.
In the season that ended, Perisic scored 11 goals and gave 10 assists in 36 Serie A games.
