This summer, Chelsea updated his transfer record by signing striker Alvaro Morato of Real Madrid for 65 million euros.

As the Spaniard himself says, for the transition to the Premier League he was inspired by the game of former forwards Chelsea Didier Drogba, Andrei Shevchenko and Fernando Torres, as well as the desire to work with Antonio Conte.

"I know that Antonio Conte wanted to sign me before, and I really wanted to work under his direction. Finally, fate brought us together, "said Morata.

"As a child, I watched the Premier League matches with my father and this is an incredible championship. Many goals are scored here, matches are played at high speeds, and I really want to test my strength here ".

"When I was a kid, I saw the game Didier Drogba, Andrei Shevchenko, Fernando Torres and dreamed of being in their place in a few years. And now I will play for Chelsea under the ninth number, so my dream came true ".

Morata will probably have to prove better than most of the players who played for the "blue" under the ninth number.
