Crystal Palace completed the signing of defender Jaer Ridevald of Ajax.

According to the official website of Orlov, the 20-year-old Dutchman signed a five-year contract with the new club. Clubs do not disclose the transfer amount, but the Guardian writes about nine million euros.

Ridevald made his debut for the first team of Ajax in 2013 under the leadership of the current manager of Crystal Palace Frank De Bour and has since held 93 games.

Last season, Ridevald, who in addition to the center of defense is able to play in the position of the left-back or defensive midfielder, held for Ajax 28 matches in all tournaments in which he scored one goal and gave one assists.

In the final of the Europa League, where Ajax lost to Manchester United, Ridevald was in the starting line-up.
