The group stage of the European Championship among the 19-year-olds ended in Georgia. The hosts had a chance to reach the semifinals, but for this they had to win the national team of the Czech Republic. However, Georgians Arabidze, led by Shakhtar midfielder Georgians, failed to defeat the Czechs (0: 2) and took only the third place in the table.
The first in Group A were the Portuguese.
In group B, the English were the strongest, who won all three matches, and the victory in the last round over the Germans left the latter behind the tournament.
The second semifinalist from this quartet was the Netherlands team.
Semifinal matches will be held on July 12. England will meet with the Czech Republic, and Portugal with the Netherlands.
