The Italian police took all the houses and offices belonging to the owner of Palermo Maurizio Zamparini, and is looking for evidence of allegations of financial fraud there.

"I'm one of the most honest people in Italian football," Dzamparini protested at the TIM interview. "And all the charges that are put forward to me, all these fake accounts and other nonsense, began after I changed my mind about selling Bakalini football club. I already called him and wondered if there was any connection between the two events.

If the accounts of the club are blocked, I will simply curtail all activity in the transfer market and Palermo will play with the youth squad and those players that we still have. But I will not be able to press on me! ".

In March, Dzamparini announced the sale of Palermo to an American businessman and showman Paul Bakalini. The deal was to be completed in April, but this event was constantly postponed, until in the end the current owner of the club announced that he would not part with Palermo until the team returned to Serie A.
