Attempt of the MLS Los Angeles Galaxy club to get the forward of the Mexican Tigres Andre-Pierre Gignac this summer was unsuccessful.
Representatives of the club from California specially flew to Marseilles, where he spends his vacation Gignac, and even managed to negotiate with the ex-football player of the French national team about moving to the US. However, the stumbling block was the categorical reluctance of Mexicans to part with their hammering attacker.
To exclude for the future the desire of the 31-year-old striker who played 98 matches in Mexico in two years, in which he scored 59 goals and gave 11 assists, to leave his current team, the management of Tigres is going to offer him a contract extension on more favorable terms.
