Striker Basel Seydou Doumbia will not play in the championship of Portugal.
As reported by Sky Sports, the Portuguese club failed to agree on the transfer of Doumbia with Roma, who owns the rights to the Ivorian striker.
It is reported that in the near future Doumbia will sign a contract with Fenerbahce. Turkish grandee offers 29-year-old footballer agreement with salary increase.
The contract between Doumbia and Roma is valid until June 2019.
Last season, Doumbia played in rent in Basel. He played 25 matches and scored 20 goals, becoming the top scorer. Note that Basel did not want to buy out the rights to the attacker for 6 million euros.
