Northern Ireland coach Michael O'Neill said that Sir Alex Ferguson was stunned by the decision of Louis van Gaal to sell Johnny Evans in 2015.
In the summer of 2015, Manchester United sold its pupil Johnny Evans, who won the club three league titles, in West Bromwich for six million pounds.
"Last September I talked with Sir Alex and he openly told me that he could not believe in Van Gaal's decision to sell Johnny Evans," O'Neal said..
"Sir Alex saw Johnny go from academy to the main player and he thought Evans would spend all his career in Manchester United".
Last season, Evans held for West Bromwich 31 match in the Premier League, which scored two goals, gave one assists and received eight yellow cards.
This summer, he was associated with the transition to Leicester City for 10 million pounds.
