Celtic will not use his quota on the fans if in July he will have to play in the Champions League against Linfield.

Celtic is not going to take his fans to Belfast for the second qualifying round match of the Champions League against Linfield if the Northern Ireland champion in the first round of qualification will pass (no one doubts) the champion of San Marino, La Fiorita.

Fans of the Celts and Linfield hate each other for political reasons (the Scots, who traditionally had a warm relationship with independent Ireland, can not tolerate Royalist supporters of English domination from Northern Ireland), so the duel between Celtic and Linfield is recognized by the British police as potentially dangerous.

"To avoid possible clashes between the fans during the meetings with Linfield, we are negotiating with the leadership of the Northern Ireland club in order to avoid them," says Celtic's official statement. - We offer our potential competitors to refuse the presence of fans of both teams on away matches. Regardless of the decision of Linfield's management, we will not take our fans to Belfast ".
