Former chief of the Academy of Manchester City, Mark Allen became the football director of the Rangers.
The most titled club of Scotland - Rangers from Glasgow - appointed the post of football director of the former head of the Academy of Manchester City.
"It's time to try myself in a new role, and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to work in such a great club as the Rangers," said Allen, who for seven years headed the ManCity Academy. "This is a great honor for me, and I hope our cooperation will be mutually beneficial".
"We are pleased that Mark accepted our offer," said Rangers Chief Executive Stuart Robinson. "With his experience and connections in the world of football and business, he is a real godsend for the club".
"Mark Allen has made a huge contribution to the success of our team," said football director Gorokhan Chiki Begiristain. "We sincerely wish him success on a new mass of work".
Before playing football, Allen completed a course in Management and Finance at the University of San Diego, after which he worked in the London branch of MTV.
