Crotone mentor David Nikola promised that if his team retains a residence permit in Serie A, he will ride a bicycle from Crotone to Turin, and kept his promise.

Back in April, when Croton seemed to have no chance to leave the relegation zone, coach Akul David Nikola promised that if a miracle happens and his team stays in Serie A, he will travel all over Italy from the south to the north on a bicycle.

And Nicola kept his word, breaking about 1300 kilometers from Crotone to Turin. Together with him the distance was passed by his brother-in-law, nephew and one of the club's employees. And he dedicated this bike ride to the memory of his son Nikolai, who died a few years ago when he got on a bicycle under the car.
