Juventus general director Beppe Marotta admitted that the club follows Milan's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarummma, but to begin the negotiations he must make sure that this is a real winner.
Donnamma is considered the main contender for the replacement of Gianluigi Buffon in the Italian team. Earlier there were rumors that he could change the legend and at the gate of Juventus. This became even more real after the 18-year-old goalkeeper refused to renew the contract with Milan.
However, Juventus will not necessarily try to sign Donnummmu.
"Of course, Juventus has the right to study all possible options. When someone appears on the transfer market, we can try to sign it, but not always, "Marotta said..
"Donnarumma is talented. But we need to understand that there is a difference between a talented player and a real champion ".
Despite the fact that Juventus may be in favor of such a decision Gigi, Marotta is confident that the transfer rules need to change.
"It is becoming increasingly difficult to cope with such situations. Now we see tremendous changes that are happening with young players. Players themselves plan their career, even if it goes against the interests of the clubs that raised them. It is a fact".
"Rules need to change. Efforts to educate young people who are applying clubs should be defended more thoroughly ".
Donnarumma made his debut in Milan at the age of 16 and has been the main goalkeeper of the Devils for about a year and a half.
