In the next season, Munich 1860 plans to hold its home matches at the Grunwalder Stadium.

Official twitter of Munich in 1860 reported that the club intends to change the place of home matches.

"We want to play in the Grunwalder stadium next season. Now we are negotiating about this, "says the club's statement.

Munich 1860 from the 2005/2006 season held their home matches at the Allianz Arena, which he shared with Bayern Munich.

Initially, it belonged to both clubs, but eventually was bought by a representative of the Bundesliga.

The Grunwalder Stadium is also located in Munich, but it can accommodate not 75,000 spectators, as on the Allianz Arena, but slightly more than 20. At this stadium there are about 6 thousand seats.

Most likely, this is due to financial reasons. At the end of the season, the Lions flew to the third division, but could drop even lower due to problems with financing.
