Left-back Benfica's Alex Grimaldo believes that now the students of Barcelona are unrealistic to get directly into the first team of the club.

Grimaldo was captain of the youth team of Barcelona. He was expected to become a first-team player, but in December 2015, Alex went to Benfica, and without playing a match for the main team of Catalans.

"It has always been difficult to break into Barca's first team, but now the club does not even look at the academy," said Grimaldo O Jogo.

"The club is left by those who are good enough to stay in it".
