Liverpool will pay the clause of Southampton midfielder - The Times

Midfielder Dusan Tadic may follow a well-trodden route from Southampton to Liverpool.

Liverpool intends to get Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic, paying for him, Klausulu - 13 million pounds, - reports The Times.

Serb is not against becoming a Reds player. Tadic could become the 5th ex-player of Southampton in the current line-up of Liverpool. Earlier, along the same route defenders Nathaniel Kline and Dejan Lovren passed, as well as midfielders Sadio Manet and Adam Lallana.

Tadic joined Southampton in 2014. The saints paid for it practically the same money they can get now - 14 million euros.



Tadic's contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2020. In the current season on the account of Dusan 33 Premier League matches in which he scored 3 goals and 5 assists.

Earlier this summer, the Reds tried to entice defender Soton Virgil van Dyck. The saints did not like this behavior of Liverpool and they threatened to complain about the club to the Football Association of England. As a result, Liverpool abandoned attempts to acquire a Dutchman.
