Forward Tottenham Hurri Kane will lead the England team to qualify for the World Cup 2018 against Scotland in Glasgow as captain.

Coach England Gareth Southgate announced that the captain of Lviv in the match with Scotland will be the best scorer in the Premier League championship Harry Kane.

"I appointed Kane captain to give him additional motivation," Southgate said.. "It's a great honor and responsibility, but I think Harry will do it".

In the England national team matches, which were not attended by its full-time leader Wayne Rooney, the captain's armband was worn by Chelsea defender Gary Cahill and goalkeeper Torino Joe Hart.

Forward Tottenham Hurri Kane did not compete for the national team since September 4 last year because of injuries.
