Assistant of the head coach of the Miner Miguel Cardoso announced about leaving the club.

Miguel Cardoso joined the coaching staff of Shakhtar in 2013. The Portuguese specialist has worked with Mircea Lucescu and Paulo Fonsecu, and now intends to find new challenges in his career.

"Four years ago I had a desire to feel a new professional reality, plunge into a different atmosphere abroad. I wanted to become a part of a wonderful club and make a personal contribution to its development, as a result I decided to leave Portugal and be a part of the Miner's family. I am proud to have represented the Gorniakov since April 2013. This is an incredible four years in Ukraine! ", - admitted Cardoso.

"I want to celebrate my last year in the first team, the arrival of a new mentor and a return to great victories. Excellent experience was working with performers of such a high level and being in the coaching staff of Paulo Fonseca. I am confident that success will develop as much as the skill and ambitions of all players, as the level of support for our fans ".
