Midfielder Chelsea Eden Azar may miss the start of the next season due to damage.
Being in the location of the national team of Belgium, Azar received an annoying ankle injury during training.
Footballer immediately left the national team and went to London, where he underwent in-depth medical examination.
Initially, it was expected that Eden would miss 2 months because of the damage, but a detailed examination showed that the problem was much more serious.
The Belgian will have to undergo a surgical intervention, after which he will be restored about three months. This diagnosis was confirmed by the head of the medical service of the Belgian national team Chris Van Crombrugge.
Thus, Azar, most likely, will miss all the pre-season and the beginning of the campaign 2017-2018.
