The main European football body presented the composition of the 18 best players of the completed Champions League.

The official website of UEFA published a list of 18 players who entered the team of the Champions League season.

Quite expected it turned out to be such stars as Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Lionel Messi (Barcelona) and Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus). However, the presence or absence of some players on this list may seem surprising to somebody.

Defenders: Leonardo Bonucci (Juventus), Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal (all - Real), Diego Godin (Atletico).
