Lukaku, whose current deal with Everton is scheduled until 2019, refused to sign a new contract that would make him the most highly paid player in club history.

The Belgian himself said that it's not about money, but about the desire to play in the Champions League.

"Lukaku was promised that he will be allowed to leave this summer if certain clubs make an offer," said Rayola.

"At the moment we are not negotiating with anyone, but knowing the market, I think that some clubs contacted Everton".

"If Everton gets a satisfying offer, Lukak arranges the project, then I think he will want to take the next step".

The favorite to sign Lukaku is his former Chelsea club.
