Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla will recover after injury for a very long time.
The Spanish midfielder was injured ankle in October 2016, and had to miss about a month, but there were problems that caused Cazorla to fall under the knife in December.
However, less than a month later the Spaniard had another operation, the next was in February. This week, Cazorla eighth time lay on the operating table.
"This is my worst year in my career," Cazorla said in an interview with Cadena Ser.
"They did not tell me how long the restoration would take, but I do not think I'll be back in less than five months.
"Since the last match for Arsenal, I conducted eight operations, the last of which on Monday. I hope everything will be better. I had complications, a bacterial infection, my bone was infected, the wound did not close, "added the football player.
Santi Cazorla last came on the field in a match against Ludogorets (6: 0) on October 19.
