Italian specialist Roberto Mancini can continue his career in St. Petersburg Zenit.

As a result of the unsuccessful season for Zenit, the team can leave the ex-coach of Shakhtar Mircea Lucescu.

In his place Petrograders as the main candidate are considered Roberto Mancini, who at the moment is out of work.

Club President Sergei Fursenko has already met with ex-mentor Inter and Manchester City, offering him the position of coach.

In the case of a successful deal, Mancini will no longer be the first Italian to head Zenit. Earlier, his compatriot Luciano Spalletti headed the St. Petersburg team from 2009 to 2014.
