Chelsea defender Gary Cahill could have been in another London club.

Fans are not accustomed to hearing from Arsen Wenger's Gunners coach about the players the club wanted to sign, but could not. Less often, these stories sound from the players themselves, but this time about the failed transfer to Arsenal told Gary Cahill.

According to the football player, in 2011 the Gunners tried to get him from Bolton. However, the team of Arsene Wenger was not replenished with a new defender because the club management did not want to pay for it the money required by Wanderers. As it turned out, this amount was only 7 million pounds. This is how much Chelsea laid out, eventually acquired the player.

Since then, Cahill has played for the Blue 238 matches, winning twice the championship of England and even once the League of Europe and the Champions League.
