Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani has completed the acquisition of the Champions League club Leeds United.

In January, Radrizzani acquired 50% of the club's shares, and on Tuesday, May 23, Leeds officially confirmed the sale of the remaining 50% of shares owned by another Italian Massimo Cellino.

This transaction put an end to the three-year rule of Cellino on Elland Road.

Andrea Radrizzani is the founder and chairman of the global investment company Aser, specializing in media and sports.

At the end of the 2016/17 season, Leeds took seventh place in the Championship standings, behind the playoff zone by five points.
