President Dynamo Igor Surkis, his brother, UEFA vice-president Grigory Surkis and their families won a court with Privatbank.

District Administrative Court of Kyiv satisfied the claim of the Surkis family to PrivatBank. According to the Ukrainian News, the court ordered Privatbank to return the Surkis family about 1.1 billion hryvnia.

In December 2016, the National Bank of Ukraine recognized the family of Surkisov as bank insiders. Then the bank introduced a temporary administration, and therefore all funds were transferred to the capital of Privatbank.

In the same month, the seed of Surkisov, in the person of Igor Mikhailovich, Grigory Mikhailovich, Rakhmil Davidovich (father), Marina (daughter of Igor), Svetlana (daughter of Gregory) and Polina Kovalik (Grigory's wife), demanded through the court the cancellation of this decision and the return of funds, Which they kept in the bank.

On May 17, the Kiev Regional Court found the NBU's decision illegal and ordered the family to return 1 billion 48 million hryvnias, 266 thousand 200 dollars and 8 thousand euros that were on the accounts of all its members.

It is also reported that the court decided to recover from Privatbank 364 million hryvnia, which were written off during the nationalization of the first, in favor of the family-owned Surkisov A-Bank.
