Watford considers the candidacy of ex-trainer Bayer Roger Schmidt as the successor to Walter Mazzari.

After the dismissal of Walter Mazzari from the post of Watford coach, the Pozzo family, who owns the team that took 17th place in the championship of England, began to search for his successor. One of the candidates for the post of Hornet's mentor is ex-helmsman Bayer Schumid.

Schmidt, who is a follower of the bright attacking game, won a gold double in Austria with RB Salzburg in 2014, after which he moved to Bayer, with whom he held fourth and third place in the First Bundesliga. However, this season the Pharmacists did not ask, and in March Schmidt was fired.

Roger's competitors are Claudio Ranieri, mentor of Hull Mark Silva and Leonid Slutsky.
