Porto parted ways with his head coach Nuno Eshpirit Santo.

The leadership of Porto decided to part with the head coach Nun Eshpirit Santa because of unsatisfactory results, reports O Jogo.

Santo took over Porto in the summer of 2016, signing a two-year contract with the Dragons.



The Dragons managed to reach the group stage of the Champions League, beating Roma in qualifying, and then withdraw from the group, leaving the tournament at the stage of the 1/8 finals, where they lost to Juventus.

In the Portuguese Cup, Porto flew in the fourth round from Shavish (0: 1), and in the League Cup took the last place in the group, gaining just two points in three games.

In the championship of Portugal Dragons took the second place, behind the champion Benfica on six points.

The last match of Porto led by Santo was an away defeat from Moreiraense with a score of 1: 3.
