Dynamo Zagreb for the first time in 12 seasons did not become the champion of Croatia - the title won Rijeka.

For two rounds before the end of the championship, Rijeka had to beat at home one of the outsiders - Cibalia, to guarantee himself a champion's title.

Already by the 15th minute Rijeka led 2-0 thanks to the double Mario Gavranovich, and after the goal from Roman Bezyaka fans began to celebrate.

The bout ended with a score of 4: 0 - scored Dario Juparic.

Thus, for the tour to the finish Rijeka ahead of the Dynamo Zagreb by 5 points - and therefore, ahead of time became the champion of the country. Club from the same coastal city managed to interrupt the 11-year hegemony of Dynamo.
