In the summer, the English Football Association may decide to ban sponsorship contracts with bookmakers and alcohol manufacturers.

The chairman of the English Football Association, Greg Clarke believes that sports organizations should give up sponsorship contracts with companies that hold sports bets and produce alcohol.

"Sports should not attract attention to things like bets and alcohol," Clark told The Times. - And in the summer we will try to consolidate this principle officially ".

Currently, AFA has contracts with beer giants Carling, Budweiser and Carlsberg, as well as the popular bookmaker office Ladbrokes.

Previously disqualified for 18 months for the stakes, Joey Barton said that before banning bets and punishing players for them, AFA should recall its own relationship with the bookmakers.
