The 22-year-old central defender defended the colors of the Netherlands national team at all youth and youth levels.

However, as long as the player does not play for the adult Netherlands national team, the Cote d'Ivoire football federation will try to entice the talented player under his banner.

Ake's father - Mois, comes from an African country, but Nathan himself was born and raised in the Netherlands.

The defender this season spent 10 leases in Bournemouth, where he scored three goals. After returning to Chelsea, the player spent only 8 minutes after the replacement.

Note that another Chelsea player - Jeremy God - who was renting in Granada, decided to play for Cote d'Ivoire, although he played all his career in the junior teams of France.
