It all started with the fact that the fan of Barcelona asked Al-Thani to beat Madrid Real in the last round of La Liga, in response to what the president of Malaga called Barcelona "the dregs of Catalonia".

Later, Al-Thani said that his words were addressed to the Catalan press, but Barcelona reacted to these words by an official statement on its website in which she expressed outrage at the content of the Tweed Al Thani.

Also, the Catalan club will refer this matter to the Anti-Violence Committee, the Competition Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, and to the La Liga Department of Integrity.
