FIFA fined football federations of Brazil, Argentina and Mexico for homophobic chanting of fans in qualifying matches of the World Cup 2018.
The Federation of Brazil and Argentina were fined 32,000 euros and 18,500 euros respectively.
Mexican Federation will pay a fine of 9.2 thousand euros.
Penalties have been imposed for incidents involving discriminatory and unsportsmanlike behavior of fans, including homophobic chants.
The FIFA statement said that the incidents occurred during the recent qualifying matches of the 2018 World Cup, but does not specify which.
