Striker Edinson Cavani signed a new agreement with PSG, which operates until the summer of 2020.

Back in January, it was reported that Cavani should "in the near future" sign a new contract with the PCG. Today (April 25), the official club twitter reported on the extension of the agreement with the Uruguayan striker.

Under the new contract, Edinson will protect the colors of PSG until 2020.

"I am very glad that I have renewed my contract with PSG. I always said that I want to continue writing history in Paris, where they are working to create the greatest club in the world. I am confident that we are able to achieve the set goals, "- said Cavani.

This season, 30-year-old Cavani scored 44 goals for Parisians in all tournaments. In total, Edinson accounted for 125 goals in 192 official matches for PSG (Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the top scorer in the club in 180 fights).

In the T-shirt PSG Edinson won 11 trophies: 3 championships, 2 French Cups, 4 French League Cups and 2 Super Cups.
